The University of Bradford School of Management's Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a part-time executive doctoral programme designed for senior managers and professionals who want to combine the best of academic knowledge with practitioner expertise. Launched in 2001, the programme is delivered through intensive residential workshops at Bradford (and occasionally Bonn, Germany) combined with independent distance learning. Students join an elite cohort of approximately 25 international managers and progress through taught research methods modules before conducting independent empirical research on a contemporary business or management challenge under dual supervision. The School of Management holds Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) — achieved by less than 1% of business schools globally — and was named Times Higher Education Business School of the Year 2021.
